Who Needs a Hero? Version 1.1 Gameplay

Do you remember Choose Your Own Adventure books from your childhood? They were one of my favorite style of books when I was a kid. The simple premise was that you could affect the outcome of your story by making choices regarding your actions – much like life, your choices affect the outcome of the story you experience.

So when I saw this game on Steam, I thought that I should give it a try. The promise of being able to affect the outcome of your game experience really appealed to me – but I had to try the game out for myself.

The big differences found in this update of the game mostly take place between day 40 and 80 including new environments, dialogue choices, the ability to marry an elf girl, and even the chance to play as a female character. Yes, I try it all in this Who Needs a Hero playthrough video.
